this is to inform the general public that Federal University, Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) PROCEDURE FOR ACCEPTANCE  FEES  2022/2023 has been announce by the school management all the newly Admitted students are  advice to pay their FUDMA ACCEPTANCE  FEES  2022
 
 
PROCEDURE FOR ACCEPTANCE OF ADMISSION FOR UTME CANDIDATES FOR 2022/2023 SESSION
  1. Successful UTME candidates for first list should check the University website www.fudutsinma.edu.ng  to re-confirm their admission status and the programmes of study for which they were admitted.
  2. Candidates are advised to study and note the specific Departmental subjects requirements before coming to the University to start registration                                                                                                                                                  

  3. All candidates should note that, the University requires Credit in English Language and Mathematics in all its programmes.
  4. Successful candidates are to report to the University for Clearance from Monday 15th October, to Friday, 26th October, 2022.

 

   STEP –1 PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT OF THE ACCEPTANCE FEES 
Successful candidates who confirmed that their names are on the Admission list and print JAMB admission letter are to make a non-refundable payment of ten thousand naira (N10, 000.00) only for acceptance of admission:

  1. Log onto the portal at http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admissions and ensure your email address and mobile number on our portal are valid and you have access to them (this is very important as Remita will send the receipt(s) for your payments to the email address provided and it will be used later on in the registration process).
  2. Then generate a transaction ID and Remita RRR for payment of Acceptance fees;
  3. To make the payment, use any of the method below:
    • Click pay via remita which will redirect you to the Remita payment gateway, you would be required to either pay online using a Valid Debit Card (Visa or Master card) or internet banking platform;
    • Or print the Transaction Form with Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and go to any commercial bank in your locality to pay. You might be required to have the RRR invoice slip sent to your email address provided in item A. above.
  4. 48 hours after Payment of Acceptance Fees, go to the University portal http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admissions to print out the following document and sign before moving to the registration centre:
    1. Acceptance of Offer of Provisional Admission (Form FUDMA/02)
    2. Undertaking Against Cultism (Form-FUDMA/01)
    3. Printed copy of Letter of Provisional Admission
  5. Proceed to the screening centre with all required documents as listed below for screening and verification of results.


    1. Signed copy of Acceptance of Offer of Provisional Admission (Form FUDMA/02) from the University Website;
    2. Printed copy of Letter of Provisional Admission from the Portal;
    3. Copy of JAMB result Slip and Original JAMB Admission letter        
    4. Original and photocopy of Birth Certificate;
    5. Original and photocopy of O’ Level certificates/statement of results;
    6. Two copies of passport photograph;
    7. Letter of Reference from a person of reputable standing in the society vouching for your good behaviour;
    8. A signed copy of Undertaking Against Cultism (Form FUDMA/01) downloaded from the University website www.fudutsinma.edu,ng

Admission Requirements


Applied Chemistry (Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry)
1  Direct Entry Candidates
Candidates with two A level passes (graded A-E) at the Advanced Level in one or more relevant subjects (Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics and Physics) may undertake the three-year degree programme into 200-level.
2  UTME Candidates:
The entry requirements shall be at least credit level passes in five subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry to form the core course with credit in Physics, and any other relevant science subjects at the Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent. In addition, an acceptable pass in the University
ARTS, MANAGEMENT & SOCIAL SCIENCES
B.A. (Honours) English Language
  • UME Entry: 5 Credit level passes in the SSCE/NECO/GCE (O/L) examinations in relevant subjects including English Language and Literature in English for the 4-year (8-Semester) programme.
  • Direct Entry: A minimum of 2 GCE (Advanced Level)/equivalent Credit passes, one of which must be Literature in English with three other subjects that must include English Language in O’ Level WASCE/GCE/NECO for the 3-year (6-Semester) programme.
B.A. (Honours) History
  • UME Entry: 5 Credit level passes in the SSCE/NECO/GCE (O/L) examinations in relevant subjects including English Language and History/Government for the 4-year (8-Semester) programme.
  • Direct Entry: For the 3-year (6-Semester) programme, a minimum of two GCE (Advanced Level)/equivalent Credit passes in relevant subjects is required. In addition candidate must have Credit passes in at least three O’ Level subjects including English Language and History/Government.
B. Sc. Accounting
  • UME Entry: Minimum of Credit passes in five subjects including English Language, Mathematics and Economics at not more than two sittings in SSCE/NECO/GCE (O/L)
  • Direct Entry: Direct entry candidates must possess five Credit passes in the GCE or equivalent examination, at least two of which shall be at Advanced Level or four Credit passes, at least three of which shall be at the Advanced Level provided that same subjects are not counted at both Levels of examinations. Credit passes at the Ordinary Level must include English Language and Mathematics. Also, either of O’ Level or A’ Level Credit passes must include economics.
B. Sc. Business Management
  • UME Entry: Minimum of Credit passes in five subjects including English Language, Mathematics and Economics at not more than two sittings in SSCE/NECO/GCE (O/L)
  • Direct Entry: Direct entry candidates must possess five Credit passes in the GCE or equivalent examination, at least two of which shall be at Advanced Level or four Credit passes, at least three of which shall be at the Advanced Level provided that same subjects are not counted at both Levels of examinations. Credit passes at the Ordinary Level must include English Language and Mathematics. Also, either of O’ Level or A’ Level Credit passes must include economics.
B. Sc. Economics
  • UME Entry: Candidates for admission into the four – year (8-semester) degree in Economics should possess a Senior Secondary School Certificate, General Certificate of Education, NECO or their equivalents with at least five Credit passes, at not more than two sittings including Mathematics, English Language and Economics. In addition, candidates must have acceptable passes in UME.
  • Direct Entry: Candidates for admission into the three-year (6-semester) Direct Entry category shall possess five Credits in GCE, SSCE, NECO or their equivalents, of which at least two shall be at Advanced Level, provided that such passes are not counted at both levels of the examination. For emphasis, Credit passes in English Language, mathematics, and Economics are required.
B. Sc. Geography
  • UME Entry: Candidates for admission into the 4-year degree programme (UME) should possess a SSCE, GCE, NECO or their equivalents with at least five Credit passes, at not more than two sittings including English Language and Geography. In addition candidates must have a minimum of Pass grade in O’ Level Mathematics and acceptable passes in UME.
  • Direct Entry: Candidates for Direct Entry admission (3-year programme) shall possess five Credits in GCE, SSCE, NECO or their equivalents, of which, at least two, shall be at Advanced Level, provided that such passes are not counted at both levels of examinations. For emphasis, Credit passes in English Language and Geography as well as a minimum of Pass grade in Mathematics are required.
B. Sc. Political Science
  • UME Entry: Candidates for admission into the 4-year degree programme (UME) should possess a SSCE, GCE, NECO or their equivalents with at least five Credit passes obtained in not more than two sittings of which two must be Government or History and English Language. A minimum of Pass in O’ Level Mathematics and an acceptable UME score are also required.
  • Direct Entry: Candidates for Direct Entry into the degree programme should possess five Credit passes in the GCE, NECO, SSCE or their equivalents, two of which shall include Government or History and English Language. It is required that at least two of these Credit passes shall be at Advanced Level. Grade in Mathematics shall not be less than Pass.
This is to inform all successful candidates who have seen their names in the admission list and the programme of study admitted to note the following:

  1. You should access your JAMB profile and accept the admission offered, download and print the admission letter before coming to the University to start the registration exercise;
  2. If you have not uploaded the O’ level results on the JAMB profile before, you must do so otherwise, you cannot be able to access the JAMB admission letter and will not be allowed to register;
  3. Any admitted candidate who did not accept admission on JAMB profile his name will not be on JAMB matriculation list and will be considered admitted neither is allowed for NYSC mobilization after graduation.
