As the pandemic spreads faster every day, there are chances that one can unknowingly come in contact with an infected person.

Once you notice someone has the virus through typical symptoms this is what you should do, according to the World Health Organisation(WHO)

First step: Acknowledge the fact that you have come in contact with an infected person and by chance it is possible you will have the virus.
Yes it can be scary and you'd start having thoughts of death, but hey! Look on the bright side, people are also recovering from it. You don't need to freak out.

Second step: Seeking medical help.
Make sure you put on your face mask and also observe social distancing of atleast one meter when you go to report your case at any health facility near you.
Yes!! You also need to avoid the spread of the virus you have by using your face mask.

Do not touch your face,
Do not rest on staircase rails,
Do not touch surfaces,
WITH YOUR HANDS!

When sneezing use your elbow and not your hands. If you must use your hands, make sure you wash them thoroughly.
If you use a tissue, dispose it immediately.

Step three:
_ Self-isolate when you notice mild symptoms(Also visit a health facility)

_ Remain self-isolated if you think you don't have COVID-19 but develop symptoms. Try as much as you can to monitor yourself.

_ Self-isolate for the next 14 days even if you notice that symptoms have disappeared.

Try as much as possible to keep a distance from people whether they have the virus or not(you never can tell).

Stay at home in this period. This is to avoid more spread of the virus.

STAY SAFE, KEEP A DISTANCE AND STAY HOME!!
