Ecobank headquarters on Victoria Island, Lagos, on Tuesday morning, went up flames with the source of the fire suspected to be from the generator
An eyewitness reporting the fire incidence through Twitter with the handle @AN26th, said the fire started when a “diesel tanker exploded near their generator.”
The bank also confirmed the fire through its official Twitter handle, sharing a video of the burning building and noting that the situation has been brought under control thanks to the intervention of the Lagos State Fire Service.
